Join in the Wii Fun games for kids! The competition takes place on the big screen in The Trove's Galaxy Hall at the White Plains Library. For boys and girls in grades 1 to 5. Additional Information: To make sure everyone is safe and comfortable, tickets are given out on a first-come, first-served basis 30 minutes before the start of the program. Arrive early.

'Teatown's Hudson River EagleFest'

Eaglefest is at Croton Point Park. Enjoy an activities from eagle viewing to storytelling, children’s activities, bird walks and displays from 30 local collaborators. 10am, 11am & 12pm—Close Encounters with Wintering Eagles and Owls with Bill Streeter of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center.

1pm & 2pm—Exclusively Eagles with Paul Schnell of the Institute for Environmental Learning. Paul will bring with him a bald eagle and golden eagle. Photo op for all!

Entertaining and educational shows are taking place all day in The Eagle Theatre and Eaglet Stage heated tents. Advance sale tickets for Eagle Theatre shows are $5.00 per person. Tickets are $10.00 per person when purchased at the door. Children ages 3 and under are free. Visit www.teatown.org for a schedule of shows and events.

Chinese New Year Celebration

Every year, Asian-Americans celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year in Westchester together with family and friends. To usher in the Year of the Rabbit, the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration will be held from 2:30pm to 11:30pm on Saturday, February 04 at New Rochelle High School (265 Clove Road, New Rochelle, NY 10801).

2:30–5:00pm Children’s activities, karaoke, vendor displays

4:30–5:15pm First dinner seating

5:30–6:30pm Second dinner seating

5:35–6:30pm Child-focused performances presented by Families with Children from China

7:00–8:30pm Main performances presented by Westchester Association of Chinese Americans

8:45–11:30pm Dance party hosted by DJ

Tickets for this event are $25/adult, $15/senior (over 65 years) and $15/child (3-12 years), if purchased by January 20, 2012. Starting January 21, if available, tickets will be $30/adult, $20/senior or $20/child.

The Royal Hanneford Circus
